Creating Programs and Promo Codes in CoachVantage and Stripe

Overview

When you create a program in CoachVantage, it is automatically synced to your connected Stripe account as a Product with the corresponding pricing options. From there, you can create promo codes (coupons) in Stripe, which clients can apply during checkout when enrolling through your program landing page.

Prerequisite — Connect Stripe to CoachVantage 🔗 

Before creating programs and promo codes, ensure your Stripe account is connected.

1. Go to Settings
2. Select Integrations
3. Confirm that Stripe is connected to your CoachVantage account

Once connected, any new program you create in CoachVantage will automatically sync to Stripe as a product.

Step 1 — Create a Program in CoachVantage

1. Go to Programs in the left menu
2. Click Create New Program
3. Enter the program name (example: Mindfulness Coaching Program)
4. Complete the remaining program setup steps

When setting up program fees, you may configure:

• One-time payment options
• Installment plans (e.g., 3-month payment plan)

After reviewing the program landing page preview, click:

👉 Save & Publish Program

You’ll receive a confirmation once the program has been created.

Step 2 — View the Program in Stripe

Once published, CoachVantage automatically syncs the program to Stripe as a Product.

To view it:

1. Log in to your Stripe account
2. In the left menu, go to Product Catalog → All Products

You’ll see:

• The program name
• Program description
• Pricing options (e.g., one-time fee + installment plan)

Each program fee is saved as a price within the Stripe product.

Step 3 — Create a Promo Code (Coupon) in Stripe

Promo codes are created and managed directly in Stripe.

1. In Stripe, go to Coupons
2. Click Create New
3. Enter a coupon name
4. Choose the discount type:
5. • Percentage discount (e.g., 10%)
   • Fixed amount discount
5. Select Applies to specific products
6. Choose the program (e.g., Mindfulness Coaching Program)
7. Set the promo duration (e.g., Forever, One-time, etc.)
8. Enable Customer-facing coupon code
9. Enter a friendly promo code (example: SPECIAL10)
10. Click Create Coupon

Your promo code is now ready to use.

Step 4 — Clients Apply the Promo Code at Checkout 🏷️

When a prospect registers via your program landing page, they will:

1. Select a pricing option
2. Proceed to the checkout page
3. Click Add Promotion Code
4. Enter the promo code you provided
5. Click Apply

The discount will be automatically deducted from the program price.

Example:

• Original price: €150
• Promo code discount: 10%
• Final price charged: €135

Step 5 — Track Promo Code Redemption 📊

In Stripe, you can view promo usage under Coupons, where redemptions display in real time.

You’ll see:

• The number of redemptions
• Which product it was applied to

Step 6 — View the Discounted Payment in CoachVantage 🧾

Once the client completes checkout:

1. Go to the Client Profile in CoachVantage
2. Click the Payments tab

You will see:

• Original program price
• Applied discount amount
• Final amount paid (after discount)

This confirms the promo code was successfully applied.
